Pilgrims of the Dunes

Pèlerins des dunes offers a hybridization between electro, world music, progressive rock and jazz. The unusual instrumentation, central to the group’s aesthetic, imposes a festive and transcendent atmosphere. In their arsenal, the musicians notably feature synthesizers, a transverse flute, cornets, clarinet, throat singing, darbouka, guimbarde and electric guitar, which coexist in an eclectic and colorful universe. The percussion and synthesizers share an evolving rhythmic foundation, the sound pillar of the melodies and improvisations performed by the musicians.
