

Calamine is a queer, feminist, and anti-capitalist rapper based in Montreal. In 2021, she won the Félix-Leclerc Prize, was named Radio-Canada's Revelation of the Year, came second in the Francouvertes competition, and her debut album, "Boulette Proof," won the Hip-Hop Album Award at the GAMIQ Awards. In 2022, she released her second full-length album, "Lesbienne woke sur l'autotune," which also won the Hip-Hop Album Award at the GAMIQ Awards, was nominated for Rap Album of the Year at the ADISQ Awards, and whose title track was shortlisted for the 2023 Collège de la Chanson de l'Année Award and the SOCAN Song Award.
